Description
A prepared 30m hose for watering along the roots
Lay this 30m CostWise soaker hose beside a hedge, through a border or along vegetable rows. Its porous recycled-rubber wall releases water along the hose, allowing you to follow the planting with a soil-level watering route.
A garden quick connector and end cap are already fitted. Complete the supply connection, check the pressure and test your layout before covering the hose.

Two checks before you start: connection and pressure
The supply end has a male garden quick-connect nipple for a compatible female hose connector. The cap at the other end closes the route. You will need a suitable supply hose and tap connection, which are sold separately.
Check the pressure as well as the fitting. The hose has a maximum working pressure of 0.7 bar; arrange suitable pressure controls if your supply exceeds that limit.
The nominal ½-inch hose size does not specify every adapter you may need. Check your existing hose-end fitting before ordering additional parts, and keep the connection accessible for inspection.

Make the first watering run a layout check
Uncoil the hose beside the plants and test the complete route above ground. Avoid tight bends and sharp edges. Optional fixing pegs can help hold the position while you check that the route follows the bed.
Inspect the connections and check the soil near both the start and far end. Soil type, planting and the available water supply affect how long you need to run the hose. The supplied 30m length should not be treated as a promise of identical output throughout every installation.
Once you are happy with the layout, leave it visible or bury it up to 20cm deep. If you shorten the hose or change the arrangement, plan the new connections and end stops before cutting.
Questions about this 30m fitted hose
What comes fitted to the hose?
One 30m hose is supplied with a factory-fitted male garden quick connector at the supply end and an end cap at the far end. Supply hose, tap adapter, fixing pegs, timer and pressure controls are separate.
Does a quick connector mean I can use full tap pressure?
No. The connection and the working pressure are separate checks. Use a compatible female garden hose connector and keep the hose within its 0.7-bar maximum working pressure, with suitable pressure controls where needed.
Will the whole 30m water in exactly the same way?
The hose releases water through its porous wall, but the supply, layout and soil affect the result. Test it above ground and check the soil near both ends. Adjust watering time to your planting rather than assuming that visible droplets mean equal watering everywhere.
Can I cut it or bury it?
You can cut the hose with suitable additional connections and end stops planned for the new arrangement. It can remain on the surface or be buried up to 20cm after testing. This is garden irrigation hose, not a drinking-water or hot-water hose.
