  • Carry water to your irrigation outlets — this plain LDPE supply line feeds separately fitted drippers, branches or other suitable irrigation equipment. It has no built-in drippers and is not porous hose; water delivery is determined by the outlets and controls you add.
  • Match the 13mm / 16mm pipe size — the nominal bore is 13mm, commonly called ½-inch, with a 16mm outside diameter. Choose irrigation fittings for that pipe size and check how they secure the tube. A standard garden-hose socket does not simply click onto the bare pipe end.
  • Choose the length for your route — options are 10m, 15m, 25m, 50m, 100m or 200m total. The 200m option is supplied as two 100m coils. Allow for corners, branches and supply connections; the quantity ordered does not establish a maximum usable run length.
  • Black UV-resistant LDPE for outdoor irrigation — route the pipe around beds, borders or a growing area and support it with suitable ground stakes. Pipe only is supplied: connectors, stakes, drippers, filter, pressure regulator and timer are separate components selected for your system.

Description

The supply route for your irrigation

Bring water from your supply connection to the places you want to irrigate. This plain black LDPE pipe forms the feed line for a system of separately fitted outlets, branches and controls.

Run it beside beds and borders, support the route with suitable ground stakes, and add the connections your layout needs. Its wall has no integrated drippers, so it carries water rather than watering through the pipe itself.

Six length options, from 10m to 200m total. The 200m option contains two 100m coils. Pipe only; all fittings and other equipment are separate.

Two sizes, one pipe

13mm refers to the nominal internal bore; 16mm is the outside diameter. This is why the same irrigation pipe is often described as 13/16mm or ½-inch. Those labels describe different measurements, not different products.

A suitable barbed fitting goes inside the tube; a fitting that grips the outside must match its external size. Follow the fitting maker’s assembly instructions and use the retention method required for the connection.

To connect a garden hose, add an appropriate adapter. The bare LDPE end is not a male quick-connect plug, and a matching bore alone does not make every garden-hose connector suitable.

Build the system around the pipe

Plan the route

Measure the feed route and branches before choosing a length. Use suitable elbows for tight changes of direction rather than kinking the tube. Keep connections accessible for inspection.

Add the watering outlets

Choose compatible drippers, branch fittings or other irrigation equipment for the plants and layout. This plain pipe has no fixed emitter spacing or built-in watering rate.

Match the supply

Size the water supply, filtration and pressure control for the whole system. Flush the line before commissioning and check every connection and outlet. A separate timer can provide scheduled watering.

Before you lay the line

Will the pipe water plants on its own?

No. It is a plain water-supply line without built-in drippers or a porous wall. Add suitable outlets and connections to deliver water where you need it.

Is the 200m option one continuous coil?

No. It is supplied as two 100m coils, giving 200m total. If your design requires joining them, the appropriate joiner is separate. Buying 200m does not mean every irrigation system can run that length from one feed.

Does a garden-hose quick connector fit straight onto it?

Not directly onto the bare tube. Use a suitable adapter for the nominal 13mm bore / 16mm outside pipe and a matching hose socket or supply fitting. Check the adapter’s assembly and retention requirements.

How long can an individual supply run be?

The usable length depends on the available pressure and flow, changes in height, fittings and total demand from the watering outlets. Choose the layout for the complete system; the coil lengths are purchase quantities, not guaranteed run-length or flow ratings.
