  • 15m hose with fitted ends — a factory-fitted garden quick connector at the supply end and an end cap at the far end give you a prepared watering length. Connect it to a compatible female garden hose fitting; your supply hose, tap adapter and pressure controls are separate.
  • Water the soil along the planting route — the nominal ½-inch porous rubber hose lets water seep through its wall. Lay it beside borders, hedges or vegetable rows, keeping the route close to the roots with gentle curves and no sharp kinks.
  • Maximum working pressure: 0.7 bar — check your supply and use suitable pressure controls where needed. Test the hose above ground, inspect the connections and compare the wetted soil at both ends before setting the watering time.
  • Recycled rubber for surface or buried use — keep the hose visible or bury it up to 20cm after testing. One 15m fitted hose supplied; fixing pegs and other accessories are separate. Intended for garden irrigation, not drinking water or hot water.

Description

A fitted 15m length for your planting

Arrange this 15m CostWise soaker hose along a border, hedge or vegetable row to release water close to the roots. The recycled-rubber wall is porous, allowing water to seep along the hose into the surrounding soil.

A garden quick connector and end cap are already fitted. Choose the supply connection and pressure controls for your setup, then give the layout a trial watering before covering the hose.

Match your supply hose to the quick connector

The fitted male garden quick-connect nipple accepts a compatible female hose connector. The hose's nominal ½-inch size describes the porous hose, rather than every fitting needed between your tap and the watering route.

Check your existing hose-end connection before ordering additional adapters. A supply hose and tap connector are not included with this product.

The hose must stay within its 0.7-bar maximum working pressure. If the supply exceeds that limit, use suitable pressure controls. Do not assume the fitted connection makes full tap pressure appropriate.

Lay it out and check the whole route

The fitted end cap closes the far end, leaving the porous hose wall to release water along the planting. Lay the hose with gentle bends and keep it clear of sharp edges or tight kinks.

Run the completed arrangement above ground first. Inspect the connections and look at the wetted soil near both the start and far end. Watering time depends on the soil, planting and available supply; visible droplets alone do not tell you how deeply the roots are being watered.

Once the layout is working, leave it on the surface or bury it up to 20cm. Keep connections accessible for inspection. If you cut the hose for another arrangement, plan the new connections and end stops first.

Questions about the fitted 15m hose

What is included with this hose?

One 15m porous soaker hose with a factory-fitted garden quick connector at the supply end and an end cap at the other. Supply hose, tap adapter, fixing pegs, timer and pressure controls are separate.

Can I connect it to my garden hose?

The male quick-connect nipple fits a compatible female garden hose connector. Check the fitting on your supply hose and keep the working pressure within 0.7 bar. A pressure control arrangement may be needed even when the quick connector fits.

Can I shorten the hose?

The porous hose can be cut, but plan the resulting connections and closed ends before cutting. It is supplied as a prepared 15m length with fitted ends; extra fittings and end stops for a different layout are not included.

Can it be buried or used for drinking water?

It can be buried up to 20cm after you have checked the layout and connections above ground. This is garden irrigation hose and is not suitable for drinking water or hot water.
