Description
A watering route that follows your planting
This 50m CostWise soaker hose lets you arrange soil-level watering around borders, hedges and vegetable beds. Its porous rubber wall releases water along the hose, so the route you lay becomes the watering area.
Use the coil to make sections suited to your garden. It can be cut to length and laid on the surface or shallowly buried, with suitable connections and pressure controls chosen separately.

Check the soil, not just the droplets
The visible beads of water show how moisture leaves the porous hose wall. What matters for your planting is where that water reaches the soil and how deeply it soaks in.
Position the hose beside the root area and inspect the bed during the first watering. Sandy, compacted and heavier soils take up and spread moisture differently, so the same watering time will not suit every bed.
Check the start and far end of each watering section. If the far end is receiving too little water, review the section length, supply and connections. Do not raise pressure above 0.7 bar to try to compensate.
Plan a section at a time
A visible trial makes the final layout easier to get right.
Lay before cutting
Follow the planting with gentle curves and avoid sharp kinks. Decide where the supply, joins and closed ends will go before dividing the coil.
Match the supply
Choose fittings for nominal ½-inch porous hose. Use suitable pressure controls where needed to keep the working pressure within the 0.7-bar limit.
Test before covering
Run the completed arrangement above ground. Inspect every connection and the wetted soil before covering the hose or burying it up to 20cm.

Porous rubber, without separate drippers
The recycled-rubber construction allows water to seep through the hose itself. It is a different approach from plain irrigation supply pipe, which carries water to separately fitted emitters.
The flexible material can be cut for your arrangement. This listing supplies hose only: allow separately for the connections, end stops and controls your layout requires.
Keep accessible points for inspection if you conceal the hose. This product is for garden irrigation and is not suitable for drinking water or hot water.
Before you lay the 50m hose
Do I need to add individual drippers?
No. Water seeps through the porous hose wall along the watering section. This is not plain supply tubing, so it does not need separate drippers to release water beside the plants.
Does the 50m coil have to stay in one piece?
No. The hose can be cut into sections for your planting layout. Plan the joins, supply and end stops before cutting. The 50m figure is the supplied length; check water delivery and soil moisture at the far end of each section rather than assuming a single long run will water evenly.
Can it connect directly to full mains pressure?
Do not assume that it can. The product label specifies a maximum working pressure of 0.7 bar. Check the supply and choose suitable pressure controls before use. Fittings and controls are not included with the hose.
Can I hide it below the soil?
Yes, it can be buried up to 20cm deep. Test the hose, connections and watering pattern above ground first. Allow access to connections so they can be inspected and adjusted later.
