Description
Keep your hose together between watering jobs
Give a coiled garden hose a place on the wall, ready to lift down when you need it.
This metal hose hanger has a curved saddle and raised front lip. It stores the hose in loose loops without a winding drum or moving mechanism.
One bracket with screws and wall plugs supplied. Hose is not included.

A storage bracket, without the reel
The hose rests across the broad curved saddle, with its loops hanging below. The raised front lip helps keep the coil on the support.
There is no water connection to assemble and no drum to wind. Coil the hose by hand after use, place it over the bracket, then lift it off when it is time to water again.
The included screws and wall plugs provide mounting fixings, but the wall still needs to be sound and suitable. Plasterboard, hollow surfaces or other specialist constructions may need different fixings.
Choose a position that works with your hose
Leave room for the whole coil, rather than mounting the bracket where the loops will obstruct a path or door.
Plan the storage space
Check the hose's natural coil size and leave space below and beside the bracket. Choose a height where you can lift the coil comfortably. Avoid tight turns around the support, especially with stiff hose.
Fix to a suitable wall
Use both rear mounting points and fixings suited to the wall material. Check the location for hidden services before drilling. Tighten the mounting securely and confirm that the bracket is stable before placing a hose on it.
Coil and check
Shut off the water and drain the hose as appropriate before storing it in loose loops. Lift the coil off before taking the hose away, rather than pulling against the bracket. Recheck the mount if you notice movement.

Check the fixing, as well as the bracket
The rear plate has two keyhole-shaped mounting slots. Both mounting points should be properly secured, with the bracket sitting firmly against its support.
The wall, fixings and stored hose all affect the installation. Check their condition periodically and stop using the bracket if it loosens, bends or develops sharp damage.
For winter storage, drain the hose and protect it as its manufacturer advises. A wall hanger organises the coil; it does not provide frost protection or an enclosed cover.
Questions about storage and installation
Does it include a hose or hose reel?
No. You receive one metal wall hanger with screws and wall plugs. The hose shown in the illustration is separate. This is a fixed bracket for a hand-coiled hose, rather than a reel with a winding or retracting mechanism.
Will the supplied fixings suit every wall?
No single fixing suits every surface. Check the wall construction and condition, and use screws and plugs appropriate to it. Both mounting points need secure support; hollow walls and specialist surfaces may require different fixings.
How should I put the hose away?
Drain it as appropriate, make loose loops and place the coil over the curved support behind the raised front lip. Avoid forcing tight bends into the hose. Lift the coil off when using it rather than pulling sideways on the mounted bracket.
