Description

Two inlet controls. One rinsing hose.

This blue valved pet wash kit brings suitable hot and cold supplies together at a three-way junction. Each inlet has its own manual valve, with a 5m main hose and eight-pattern gun taking the water to your washing spot.

It is a practical setup for rinsing muddy paws and coats when you have suitable separate tap connections. Set a gentle flow and check the outlet water before washing; changing either supply can change the temperature.

One hose-and-gun kit supplied. Bath, stand and tap adaptors are sold separately.

Plan the connections before wash day

Check the tap outlets, the space between them and the route to your washing area.

Start at the taps

Each short inlet hose is 0.5m long. Allow for routing and slack rather than pulling the fittings tight. The supplied hose ends need compatible male quick-connect outlets; buy any tap adaptors separately to suit your actual taps.

Set the water by hand

The two junction valves adjust the incoming flows. They do not monitor the temperature or provide automatic anti-scald protection. Check that your plumbing is suitable for joining the supplies, and test the outlet water after every adjustment.

Keep the rinse gentle

Select a gentle spray and test it away from your pet first. Check the water again after changing a tap or valve setting. When finished, close both taps, release the remaining pressure and drain the hoses before storing.

Actual blue kit contents with five-metre main hose, two half-metre inlets, two-valve junction, eight-pattern gun and six connectors

What arrives in the blue kit?

One 5m main hose runs from the junction to the spray gun. Two separate 0.5m inlet hoses serve the tap connections; they are not extensions that turn the main hose into a continuous six-metre length.

One three-way valved junction combines the two supplies. The white controls shown in the actual kit photo adjust each inlet manually. There is no heater or thermostatic mixer inside the kit.

One eight-pattern gun and six hose-end connectors complete the pack. A bath, stand and tap adaptors are separate. If you need threaded tap adaptors, match the thread and intended water supply before ordering; ask a plumber if you are unsure about joining your supplies.

Before you connect the kit

Does it keep the water at a fixed temperature?

No. The junction combines the supplies and its valves give manual flow adjustment. It does not heat water, monitor temperature or provide automatic anti-scald protection. Test the water before washing and whenever either supply or control changes.

Are tap adaptors included?

No. The six included connectors fit the hose ends and attach to compatible male quick-connect outlets. Any tap adaptors must be selected separately for your actual taps and water supply. Your plumbing must also be suitable for combining the supplies.

How long is the hose between the junction and gun?

The main blue hose is 5m. The two additional inlet hoses are 0.5m each and connect the tap side of the junction. Leave room for bends and slack when checking the layout.

How many spray patterns does this gun have?

The supplied gun has eight selectable patterns, as shown in the kit contents photo. Rotate the selector and test a gentle flow away from your pet before rinsing.
