Description
More reach for rinsing, less hose to put away
The blue expanding-hose pet wash kit pairs a compact main hose with a seven-pattern trigger gun and a two-inlet connection arrangement for suitable hot and cold supplies.
The hose changes length as water pressure fills it: 5m relaxed, extending up to 15m. After washing, turn off the supplies and drain it so the hose can contract for storage.
The image shows the main hose and gun. The inlet hoses and plain three-way junction are shown in the complete kit photo below.

Follow the connections from the taps
Two short blue inlet hoses lead into a plain three-way junction. Four hose-end connectors serve those inlet hoses, while the expanding main hose uses its own two couplings.
The junction combines the flows without adding controls of its own. Temperature adjustment is at the taps, using supplies suitable for this arrangement. It does not heat the water or maintain a set temperature automatically.
The expanding-hose set includes a threaded 1/2–3/4 BSP tap adaptor. Check both tap outlets and choose any further adaptors to suit them. “Click-lock” describes the hose connection, not universal compatibility with every tap.
Get the reach without pulling on the fittings
Set up with the water off, then let supply pressure expand the main hose.
Check the supplies
Match both tap connections and allow slack at the short inlet hoses. Confirm that your plumbing is suitable for combining the supplies; ask a plumber if you are unsure.
Allow for changing pressure
The full 15m reach depends on the available pressure. Lower pressure can leave the hose shorter. Keep the washing spot within comfortable reach and do not stretch the hose by pulling on its couplings. The expanding hose is rated to a maximum 4 bar working pressure.
Test, rinse and drain
Choose a gentle spray and check the outlet water before washing. Recheck after supply changes. Finish by closing both taps, releasing pressure and draining the hose; releasing the gun trigger alone does not shut off the supplies.
Questions about the expanding-hose kit
Is the hose always 15m long?
No. Its nominal relaxed length is 5m and it can extend up to 15m when pressurised. Low pressure can limit expansion. Choose your washing position with some spare reach rather than pulling the hose to make it fit.
Does the junction have separate hot and cold valves?
No. This kit has a plain three-way junction. Adjust the flow at the tap supplies and test the temperature at the gun. It is not a thermostatic mixer and has no automatic anti-scald control.
What fittings come with the hoses?
Four connectors for the two short inlet hoses, two couplings for the expanding main hose and the expanding-hose set’s threaded 1/2–3/4 BSP adaptor are supplied. Check each tap outlet; a further matching adaptor may be needed for the second connection.
How is this different from the fixed 5m wash kits?
The main hose here changes length with water pressure and the gun has seven selectable patterns. A fixed-length kit does not gain reach by expanding. This listing supplies the blue expanding version, not a fixed 5m hose or a two-valve junction.
