Description
Choose the connection that suits your hose
Replace a worn fitting or set up a hose for watering with this range of female garden quick connectors. All eleven options fit ½-inch garden hose, with different materials, grip surfaces and release styles to choose from.
The front socket accepts a compatible male garden plug. The rear retaining nut secures the hose, so you can change watering equipment without undoing the hose attachment.
One connector in your selected style. Lockable Green is shown as an example. Hose, tap adapters, joiners and watering tools are sold separately.

Hose grip and accessory release are separate
The rear retaining nut tightens the connector onto the hose. Leave it fitted when changing a nozzle or spray gun; use the release mechanism at the front socket instead.
On Lockable Orange and Lockable Green, the padlock markings identify the twist-lock positions. Engage the matching male plug, set the lock as marked and return it to the unlocked position before releasing. The photo shows Lockable Orange.
A lock holds the connection engaged; it does not mean the fitting automatically stops the water. Turn off the tap and release pressure before uncoupling. The Brass and Zinc Chrome choices have metal bodies; Zinc Chrome is zinc alloy with chrome plating.
Fit and check your chosen connector
Use a sound hose end and a compatible male garden plug.
Fit the hose end
Shut off the water and release pressure. Slide the loosened rear nut onto the hose, seat the hose fully on the gripping section and tighten the nut by hand. Check the hose size against your selected option.
Connect the equipment
Engage the matching male garden plug in the front socket. Set any fitted lock as marked. Open the tap gradually and inspect the hose attachment and accessory joint before watering.
Change tools and store
Switch off and release pressure before uncoupling. Release any lock before operating the connector’s release mechanism. Drain after use and keep dirt out of the socket and hose-gripping parts.
Before you choose a style
Which options can I use with ⅝-inch hose?
Orange & Black, Soft Touch Black and Lime are specified for ½-inch or ⅝-inch hose. All other options in this listing are specified for ½-inch garden hose.
Are all the connectors made from plastic?
No. Brass has a brass body, and Zinc Chrome has a chrome-plated zinc-alloy body. The other choices are plastic-bodied styles; Soft Touch Black adds a soft gripping surface.
Can this screw straight onto a tap?
The female garden click socket needs a compatible male plug. A bare threaded tap requires a separate suitable tap adapter. To join two hoses already fitted with female connectors, use a compatible separate double-male garden joiner.
Do I receive all eleven styles or the pictured hose?
No. Each purchase supplies one connector in the style selected above. Other connectors, hose, taps, adapters, joiners and watering equipment in the photos illustrate the range or possible connections and are not included.

Returned items must be in the same condition in which you received them—unworn or unused, with tags attached and in their original packaging. You must include either a copy of your invoice or a slip with your order reference number inside the parcel. Please be sure not to obscure your return reference number on the label.
If you refuse delivery or reject the parcel without prior notice, we will inspect the returned package and issue a refund upon receipt. Although there is no restocking fee, we will deduct the cost of the return postage label (£3.35) from your refund.
If the returned item or its packaging shows signs of use, damage, or staining, we may deduct up to 50% of the order value—or refuse the return entirely—depending on its condition. Examples include damaged tags, stained, modified or damaged packaging, or missing components.
For faulty, incorrect, or damaged items, please contact us before sending anything back so we can attempt to resolve the issue directly. If we agree that a return is necessary due to our error, we will provide you with a pre-paid return label.
Products that have been modified or damaged through customer action are not eligible for return. This includes, but is not limited to, items that have been cut, trimmed or otherwise altered—such as a tarpaulin or pond liner resized to your specifications—or any product showing damage beyond normal inspection handling.
