Description
A broad clear sheet for larger covering jobs
For equipment or materials spread over a longer space, this 6m × 10m Monotex tarpaulin gives you a substantial rectangular sheet to position around them. Clear 350gsm polyethylene allows daylight through, with a visible white reinforcing grid throughout.
Reinforced hemmed edges and corners provide fixing points around the perimeter, with 12mm aluminium eyelets every 0.5m. Plan the supports and attachments before unfolding the sheet, leaving room to position it without dragging it across rough ground.
One tarpaulin supplied. Crates, supports and fixing accessories are separate.

Allow for height as well as length
Measure the route the cover will actually follow: up one side, across the top and down the other. Repeat at right angles. Place the 10m cut side along the longer route, then check that the 6m cut side allows enough width for side drops, overlaps and reaching your anchors.
The nominal flat cut area is 60m² before hemming. Finished dimensions may be up to 5% smaller. A cover draped over raised items uses some of that material above the ground, so the area figure alone cannot tell you whether the sheet will fit.
The diagram shows the 5:3 cut proportions with a representative mesh. Only corner eyelets are drawn for clarity; this size has specified 0.5m intervals along the edges.
Light through. Cover in place.
The clear material and reinforcing grid work together; plan the covering arrangement around both the space and what is underneath.
Keep the grid in mind
Daylight passes through the clear material, but the mesh is visible. Choose it for a light-transmitting cover rather than an unobstructed viewing window.
Support and secure
Cushion rough edges and give rain a route to run off. Use suitable ties around the perimeter, checking their fit and reach. Do not rely on one corner to hold a poorly supported cover.
Check between uses
Inspect the sheet and attachments during use. Remove loose dirt and allow the tarpaulin to dry before folding it away. Keep it clear of flames, hot equipment and abrasive surfaces.
What arrives with your order?
One clear 350gsm Monotex polyethylene tarpaulin, nominally 6m × 10m before hemming, with reinforcing mesh, reinforced edges and corners, and 12mm aluminium eyelets every 0.5m. Frames, crates, ropes, bungees, pegs and other supports are not supplied.
Ordering more than one supplies separate sheets. 350gsm describes material weight per square metre. This tarpaulin is not suitable for roofing or temporary roofing.
Questions about clear Monotex
How clear is the material?
The polyethylene lets daylight through, with a visible reinforcing mesh throughout. It is not a glass-like viewing panel, and no percentage light-transmission rating is specified.
Are 6m × 10m the finished dimensions?
No. They are nominal cut dimensions before hemming. Finished dimensions may be up to 5% smaller. Allow separately for side drops, overlaps and reaching your anchors.
How far apart are the eyelets?
This size has 12mm aluminium eyelets every 0.5m along the edges. Fixings are sold separately; check their fit and reach for your covering arrangement.
Can I use it as a roof covering?
No. Do not use this tarpaulin for roofing or temporary roofing.

Returned items must be in the same condition in which you received them—unworn or unused, with tags attached and in their original packaging. You must include either a copy of your invoice or a slip with your order reference number inside the parcel. Please be sure not to obscure your return reference number on the label.
If you refuse delivery or reject the parcel without prior notice, we will inspect the returned package and issue a refund upon receipt. Although there is no restocking fee, we will deduct the cost of the return postage label (£3.35) from your refund.
If the returned item or its packaging shows signs of use, damage, or staining, we may deduct up to 50% of the order value—or refuse the return entirely—depending on its condition. Examples include damaged tags, stained, modified or damaged packaging, or missing components.
For faulty, incorrect, or damaged items, please contact us before sending anything back so we can attempt to resolve the issue directly. If we agree that a return is necessary due to our error, we will provide you with a pre-paid return label.
Products that have been modified or damaged through customer action are not eligible for return. This includes, but is not limited to, items that have been cut, trimmed or otherwise altered—such as a tarpaulin or pond liner resized to your specifications—or any product showing damage beyond normal inspection handling.
