Description
A vented lid for the top of your IBC
Replace a missing or worn top lid on a tank with a matching S160x7 coarse filling neck. The ribbed plastic lid covers the large opening while its removable centre insert provides the vent feature.
This is the single-centre-vent lid, commonly described as a 150mm, 155mm or 6-inch IBC lid. Check the S160x7 thread and sealing arrangement, rather than relying on a general size name.
One complete lid supplied. Colour varies: red, blue or black may be sent according to stock. Colour cannot be selected. Tank, cage and additional fittings are not included.

Two threads with different jobs
The large S160x7 female thread fastens the lid to the tank's top filling neck. Its coarse profile is separate from the smaller 2-inch BSP female port in the centre of the lid.
The centre port is supplied with a removable vent insert. The underside photograph shows the insert and the small vent opening, as well as the gasket around the main lid. This is a vented assembly, rather than an airtight blank cover.
BSP sizes are nominal thread designations, not measured hole diameters. If you change the centre fitting, check its thread, seal and effect on the tank's ventilation before use. Hoses, reducers and alternative inserts are separate.
Check the fit before replacing your lid
Match the filling neck
Compare the old lid and tank-neck thread, including the sealing face. S160x7 identifies the coarse thread; this lid does not fit an S60x6 bottom outlet.
Inspect the gasket
Keep the neck and sealing face clean. Check the gasket and plastic thread for damage, start the lid squarely and follow the tank's fitting instructions without forcing it.
Keep the vent clear
Check the centre insert for dirt or obstruction and keep it correctly fitted. Do not paint or seal over the vent. Follow the tank guidance for the stored liquid and intended use.
Before you order
Can I choose the lid colour?
No. One lid is supplied in red, blue or black according to stock availability. The colour examples and multiple photo angles show the range; they do not represent a pack of several lids.
Is this a rated pressure-relief valve?
No pressure-relief rating or specified vent flow rate has been confirmed for this lid. Do not treat the vent as a certified pressure-safety device. Drinking-water approval and chemical compatibility are also not established; check the tank's requirements for your intended use.

What is BSP?
What is BSP thread size?
BSP (British Standard Pipe) is a nominal pipe-thread size, not a direct measurement of a fitting’s bore or outside diameter. For example, a ½-inch BSP male thread measures about 21mm across its outer thread crests.
These figures are approximate outside diameters of male BSP threads, to help identify the nominal size. They are not inch-to-millimetre unit conversions:
- 3/8" BSP → 16.66 mm
- 1/2" BSP → 20.95 mm
- 3/4" BSP → 26.44 mm
- 1" BSP → 33.25 mm
- 1.25" BSP → 41.91 mm
- 1.5" BSP → 47.80 mm
- 2" BSP → 59.61 mm
- 3" BSP → 87.88 mm
- 4" BSP → 113.03 mm
Measure across the outside of a male thread, then check its pitch and whether it is parallel or tapered. Diameter alone does not confirm compatibility. Check the product’s stated thread specification before connecting.

Returned items must be in the same condition in which you received them—unworn or unused, with tags attached and in their original packaging. You must include either a copy of your invoice or a slip with your order reference number inside the parcel. Please be sure not to obscure your return reference number on the label.
If you refuse delivery or reject the parcel without prior notice, we will inspect the returned package and issue a refund upon receipt. Although there is no restocking fee, we will deduct the cost of the return postage label (£3.35) from your refund.
If the returned item or its packaging shows signs of use, damage, or staining, we may deduct up to 50% of the order value—or refuse the return entirely—depending on its condition. Examples include damaged tags, stained, modified or damaged packaging, or missing components.
For faulty, incorrect, or damaged items, please contact us before sending anything back so we can attempt to resolve the issue directly. If we agree that a return is necessary due to our error, we will provide you with a pre-paid return label.
Products that have been modified or damaged through customer action are not eligible for return. This includes, but is not limited to, items that have been cut, trimmed or otherwise altered—such as a tarpaulin or pond liner resized to your specifications—or any product showing damage beyond normal inspection handling.
