  • For 10mm curly or spiral hose — a pair of hose-end connectors for compatible 10mm watering hose. Check the hose fit as well as the quick-connect profile when replacing an existing fitting.
  • Female garden click-lock socket — connects to a matching male quick-connect fitting, including the common Hozelock-style system. The socket connection is separate from the size of the hose it holds.
  • Screw-on hose-side nut — the smaller black cap secures the hose over the internal tail. The open fitting photo shows how those parts fit together, helping you compare it with your old connector.
  • Two complete connectors supplied — fit a compatible connector at each hose end, replace a worn fitting or keep one as a spare. Two female connectors need a separate double-male joiner to connect to each other.
  • Black and orange plastic fittings — a matching pair for compatible garden-watering hose ends. Hose, tap adapters, male joiners and spray accessories are separate purchases, so you can choose only the connections your setup needs.

Description

Refresh the ends of your spiral hose

Two female click-lock connectors for compatible 10mm curly or spiral hose. Fit a replacement or keep a matching spare.

A screw-on nut holds the hose at the smaller end. The larger female socket connects to a matching male garden quick fitting.

Pack of two. Hose and other fittings are sold separately.

Check both sides of the connection

The 10mm hose application describes the hose side. It is not the diameter of the larger quick-connect socket. Compare the hose and your existing fitting before choosing a replacement.

The smaller screw-on nut fits over the hose-side tail. At the other end, the female click-lock socket accepts a matching male garden quick connector, such as the common Hozelock-style profile.

The cap threads are part of the hose attachment. They are not a threaded tap connection: a tap needs the appropriate male quick-connect adapter if it does not already have one.

Fit the hose, then check the quick connection

Work with the water turned off and the hose depressurised.

Compare and prepare

Check that the connector suits the hose end and the male fitting it will meet. Unscrew the smaller hose-side nut and slide it onto the hose before fitting the hose onto the tail.

Seat the hose

Push the compatible hose onto the tail and refit the nut by hand. If the hose will not seat properly, recheck its fit rather than forcing the connector or cross-threading the nut.

Connect and inspect

Push the female socket onto the matching male click-lock fitting until it engages. Turn the water on gradually and check both connections. Turn it off and release pressure before disconnecting or adjusting the assembly.

Joining two female hose ends?

The two connectors in this pack do not click directly into one another. To join two hose ends already fitted with female sockets, use a compatible double-male garden hose joiner between them.

A joiner is an optional separate purchase. You do not need one simply to attach a female connector to a tap adapter or spray accessory that already has the correct male quick-connect end.

Before replacing your connector

Does 10mm refer to the female socket opening?

No. It describes the intended hose application: 10mm curly or spiral hose. The larger female socket uses the garden click-lock connection profile. Check both the hose fit and the male quick-connect fitting rather than choosing by the socket opening alone.

Can the two connectors join straight together?

No. Both have female quick-connect sockets. A compatible double-male joiner provides the two male ends needed between them. The joiner is not included in this pack.

Will this screw directly onto a garden tap?

No. The female socket clips onto a matching male quick-connect adapter. The smaller threaded nut belongs to the hose attachment, not the tap. Choose a tap adapter separately if your tap does not already have a compatible male connection.

Does it automatically stop the water when disconnected?

An automatic water-stop function is not specified for this connector, so do not assume it will shut off the supply. Turn the water off and release pressure before removing a fitting or adjusting the hose attachment.
