Description
A WHITE LINE connection for your garden hose
This white and grey female hose connector fits ½-inch or ⅝-inch garden hose. Its female garden click socket accepts a compatible male plug, letting you attach watering equipment at the hose end.
Fit the rear retaining nut to the hose once, then use the separate release collar for routine tool changes. The moulded grip surfaces help you hold each part during assembly.
One standard connector supplied. This version has no automatic water stop. Hose, tap adapters and watering tools are sold separately.

How the hose is held
With the retaining nut removed, you can see the profiled gripping teeth around the hose entry. Slide the nut over the hose first, seat the hose fully on the gripping section, then bring the nut forward and tighten it by hand.
The nut shown beside the body is part of the same connector. It is not a second fitting. At the opposite end, the female click socket connects to a matching male garden plug.
Garden hose size and tap-thread size are different measurements. This connector does not screw onto a bare BSP tap thread; use a suitable separate tap adapter for that connection.
From hose assembly to watering
Fit with the water off, then check the connection before use.
Check the hose
Use ½-inch or ⅝-inch garden hose with a clean, undamaged end. Turn off the supply and release pressure before loosening the rear nut or fitting the connector.
Attach and test
Seat the hose and hand-tighten the nut. Push a compatible male garden plug into the front socket until engaged. Open the tap gradually and inspect both joints.
Change tools and store
Shut off the tap and release pressure before operating the release collar. Leave the hose nut fitted for normal accessory changes. Drain after use and keep dirt out of the socket.
Choosing the standard WHITE LINE connector
Will it fit both stated hose sizes?
Yes. This connector is specified for ½-inch or ⅝-inch garden hose. Check the hose size rather than the connector’s outside diameter or a tap-thread measurement.
Is there an automatic water-stop valve?
No. This is the standard connector. Switch off the tap and release pressure before removing the male plug. The water-stop version is a different connector.
Can two female hose connectors click together?
No. Each socket needs a compatible male garden plug. To join two hoses already fitted with female connectors, use a separate suitable double-male garden joiner.
Does the photo with the loose nut show two connectors?
No. It shows the retaining nut removed from the body of one connector to illustrate the hose attachment. You receive one complete connector; hose and watering accessories are not included.
