Description
Clear covering for a small space
Some covering jobs need a small sheet rather than metres of spare material. This clear 350gsm Monotex tarpaulin starts with a 65cm × 65cm cut square, with a white reinforcing mesh visible through the polyethylene.
Use the compact dimensions to check your covering route carefully. The sheet needs enough material to drape over the items and reach its fixing points; the finished hemmed size is smaller than the cut size.
One tarpaulin supplied. Supports, containers and fixings are separate.

Check the space in centimetres
Measure up, over and down what you want to cover, then measure the route at right angles. Each route must fit within the finished sheet, with room for any overlap and the reach to your anchors.
The 65cm sides are nominal cut measurements before hemming. Finished dimensions may be up to 5% smaller. A container with a 65cm square footprint would therefore need a larger sheet, even before allowing for its height.
The diagram shows the square proportions and reinforcing mesh. Corner eyelets are representative; it is not an eyelet count or spacing guide.
Light through. Cover in place.
The clear material and reinforcing grid work together; plan the covering arrangement around both the space and what is underneath.
Keep the grid in mind
Daylight passes through the clear material, but the mesh is visible. Choose it for a light-transmitting cover rather than an unobstructed viewing window.
Support and secure
Cushion rough edges and give rain a route to run off. Use suitable ties around the perimeter, checking their fit and reach. Do not rely on one corner to hold a poorly supported cover.
Check between uses
Inspect the sheet and attachments during use. Remove loose dirt and allow the tarpaulin to dry before folding it away. Keep it clear of flames, hot equipment and abrasive surfaces.
What arrives with your order?
One clear 350gsm Monotex tarpaulin with a nominal 65cm × 65cm cut size, reinforcing mesh, hemmed edges, reinforced corners and 12mm aluminium eyelets. Containers, frames, ropes, bungees and other fixings are not included.
Ordering more than one supplies separate sheets. 350gsm is the material weight per square metre, not the weight of this small sheet. Do not use it for roofing or temporary roofing.
Before choosing this small sheet
Is the finished sheet 65cm square?
65cm × 65cm is the nominal cut size. The edges are folded and hemmed, so finished dimensions may be up to 5% smaller. Leave room for drape, overlaps and fixing reach when measuring.
Will I be able to see through it?
Daylight passes through the clear polyethylene, with a visible reinforcing mesh throughout. Choose it for light-transmitting coverage rather than an unobstructed viewing window.
Are ties included with the sheet?
No. Select ties or bungees separately, checking their fit with the 12mm aluminium eyelets and their reach to your anchors. Supports and other accessories are also separate.
Can I use it as a roof covering?
No. This tarpaulin is not suitable for roofing or temporary roofing.

To initiate a return, please contact us via our contact form to obtain a return authorisation and the correct returns address (different from the address on your invoice). This can also be done through your 'recent orders' page on your account if you are registered with Shop. Returns sent without prior authorisation will be discarded.
Returned items must be in the same condition in which you received them—unworn or unused, with tags attached and in their original packaging. You must include either a copy of your invoice or a slip with your order reference number inside the parcel. Please be sure not to obscure your return reference number on the label.
If you refuse delivery or reject the parcel without prior notice, we will inspect the returned package and issue a refund upon receipt. Although there is no restocking fee, we will deduct the cost of the return postage label (£3.35) from your refund.
If the returned item or its packaging shows signs of use, damage, or staining, we may deduct up to 50% of the order value—or refuse the return entirely—depending on its condition. Examples include damaged tags, stained, modified or damaged packaging, or missing components.
For faulty, incorrect, or damaged items, please contact us before sending anything back so we can attempt to resolve the issue directly. If we agree that a return is necessary due to our error, we will provide you with a pre-paid return label.
Products that have been modified or damaged through customer action are not eligible for return. This includes, but is not limited to, items that have been cut, trimmed or otherwise altered—such as a tarpaulin or pond liner resized to your specifications—or any product showing damage beyond normal inspection handling.
