Description
Join two lengths of 25mm pond hose
Extend a suitable hose run with this straight 25mm joining connector. Equal-size ribbed hosetails take the hose at either end.
A narrow central ring separates the two seating sections, giving you an accessible hose-to-hose joint.
One black plastic connector supplied. Hose and securing clips are sold separately.

Make both hose connections accessible
Check the fit, securing clips and hose route before completing the joint.
Match both hose bores
Use suitable 25mm internal-bore hose on each side. Check the wall profile and fitting requirements. The equal ends keep the same hose size through the joint; use a different fitting for a change in bore.
Secure each end
Seat the hoses on their respective ribbed sections following the hose’s fitting guidance. Select clips for the fitted outside diameter and leave access to tighten them. Hose and clips are not part of this listing.
Support and check the run
Arrange the hose without a sharp bend or tension across the connector. Keep the joint supported and accessible. Inspect both connections with water before covering the hose route or making the join difficult to reach.
Questions about the 25mm straight joiner
Does 25mm mean the inside or outside of my hose?
It describes the intended internal bore of the hose that fits over the hosetail. Check the hose specification and wall profile before assembly. A pipe labelled 25mm by its outside diameter is not automatically compatible with this fitting.
Can I use it between hoses of different sizes?
This is an equal 25mm joiner, with the same nominal hosetail size at both ends. It is not a reducing connector. Where the two hose bores differ, choose a reducer with the correct size at each end instead.
Are the two hose clips included?
No. The listing supplies one bare connector. Choose securing clips separately for both hose connections, using each hose’s outside diameter when seated on the barb and checking that the clip style suits the hose wall.
Will it screw into a pump or filter outlet?
No. Both ends are ribbed hosetails, with no male or female BSP thread. It joins two suitable 25mm-bore hose sections. A threaded equipment port needs a matching threaded-to-hosetail adapter; check its thread size and gender as well as the hose bore.
