  • Choose the fitting for the connection you need — this range covers hose-end connectors, straight and three-way joiners, tap adapters, splitters and valves. Select one named option from the Item menu; the whole pictured range is not supplied together.
  • Match the hose side and the connector side separately — standard female hose-end options suit ½-inch or ⅝-inch hose, with separate locking, 10 mm and micro-tube choices. A hose-fit size is different from a BSP thread or the male/female garden quick-connect interface.
  • Join hoses or split a tap supply — double-male and three-way fittings connect suitable female hose ends. Two-way and four-way tap splitters provide separately controlled outlets; the plain three-way connector has no individual shut-off valves.
  • Add the right type of control — choose a manual in-line or threaded valve for local flow control, or the dedicated pressure-reducing option for its stated 1.7 bar reduction. These are different functions; most connectors in the range do not reduce pressure.
  • Check the selected pack contents — choices include single fittings, pairs and defined kits. Plastic connector options and metal-bodied tap splitters are both offered. Hose, tap and watering equipment shown in use are separate unless the chosen kit expressly lists them.

Description

Find the fitting for your next connection

Join two hose lengths, branch a watering line or add control at the tap. This range brings those different jobs together in one garden hose fitting selector.

Start with the task, then check the hose size and both connection ends. Use the grouped guide below to find the option name in the Item menu above.

Choose one fitting, pack or kit. Supplied contents depend on the selected option.

Male 3/4" BSP Thread Valve
One valve with a female garden quick-connect socket and a ¾-inch BSP male thread.

Male Click-lock Valve
One female quick-connect valve plus a screw-in tap adapter that provides a male quick-connect end. The assembled valve links female and male quick-connect interfaces.

Split a tap supply

4-Way Tap Connector
One metal-bodied tap splitter with four male garden quick-connect outlets, each with an individual control dial. Check the supplied inlet adapter against your tap.

4-Way + Connectors
The four-way metal-bodied tap splitter plus four female hose connectors. Match hose size and tap thread before ordering.

2-Way Tap Connector
One metal-bodied two-way tap splitter with independently controlled quick-connect outlets. Threaded inlet accommodates 1-inch BSP female with a ¾-inch reduction.

2-Way Tap Splitter
One plastic two-way tap splitter with independent valves, 1-inch BSP female inlet and ¾-inch reducer; two male quick-connect outlets.

Reduce pressure

Pressure Reducing Valve
One female quick connector with ½-inch hose connection and built-in pressure reduction, stated at 1.7 bar. Choose this for a compatible low-pressure hose setup, not as an adjustable shut-off valve.

Connect a threaded tap

3/4"-1/2" BSPF Tap Connector
One tap adapter with ¾-inch BSP female thread and a ½-inch reducer; male garden quick-connect outlet.

3/4" BSP Male Connector
One adapter with a ¾-inch BSP male thread and a male garden quick-connect spigot.

Tap Connector (3/4" BSPF)
One adapter with a ¾-inch BSP female thread and a male garden quick-connect spigot.

Start a hose setup

Hose Connector Set
One adjustable nozzle, one standard female hose connector, one stop-type female hose connector and one ¾-inch/1-inch BSP female tap adapter. Hose connectors suit ½-inch or ⅝-inch hose; hose is not included.

Connect micro tubing

Micro Irrigation Connector
One adapter with a female garden quick-connect socket and nominal 4 mm micro-tube barb. Match the micro tubing separately.

Micro Irrigation + Double Male
One nominal 4 mm micro-tube adapter plus a double-male garden quick connector, providing an interface for an existing female hose-end connector.

Three checks before ordering

A matching click connection alone does not confirm the hose or thread fit.

1. Hose fit

Check the bore of the hose where it attaches to the fitting. The 10 mm connector, micro-tube barb and larger garden hose connectors are separate options. Match the connector's grip to your hose as well as its nominal size.

2. Connection ends

A male garden quick-connect spigot fits a compatible female quick socket. BSP male and female threads screw together instead. The gender shown for a BSP thread does not describe the quick-connect end.

3. Quantity and control

Read the selected option's contents. A plain joiner does not add a valve; a manual valve does not provide pressure regulation. The pressure-reducing connector is a specific separate choice.

Actual double-male hose joiner shown separately from two female hose connectors

Understand the join before adding more parts

A double-male joiner bridges two female quick-connect sockets. If both hose ends already have suitable female connectors, you may need only the joiner. The “Double Male + Connectors” option adds two hose-end fittings.

A three-way connector provides three male quick-connect branches. The matching kit includes three hose connectors; the plain splitter does not. These are open branches, so select a valved tap splitter when you need separate outlet control.

Sharing one supply between several outlets can reduce the flow available to each. Check the result with your connected equipment and the water supply you have.

Connecting and maintaining the fittings

Will every option fit every hose and tap?

No. The range uses several hose sizes, thread sizes and connection styles. Match the hose fit, the BSP thread where present, and the quick-connect interface for the specific option. Check your existing fittings rather than relying on colour or the word universal.

Does the listing include all the pictured fittings?

No. You receive the single fitting, pair or kit named in the selected Item option. The selection guide sets out those contents. Hose, tap and watering equipment are not supplied unless expressly included in that option.

Is a stop connector the same as a manual valve?

No. A stop-type hose connector has an internal stop feature for accessory changes. A manual valve has an on/off control that you operate. Turn off the tap and release pressure before fitting, disconnecting for maintenance or leaving the system unattended.

What should I check if a connection drips?

Turn off the water first. Check that the hose size and connector match, the hose is inserted correctly, and the seal is clean and undamaged. Start BSP threads squarely by hand and use the sealing method appropriate to the joint. Do not force a mismatched thread or tighten a plastic connector until it distorts.

What is BSP?

What is BSP thread size?
BSP (British Standard Pipe) thread sizes are a widely used set of standardised pipe threads for plumbing and fluid connections. The “size” (e.g. ½″ BSP) refers to the nominal bore of the pipe, not the actual measurement across the threads. In other words, a ½″ BSP fitting has a nominal internal diameter of ½″, but its external thread diameter will be slightly larger.

Below are the common BSP nominal sizes with their inch-to-millimetre conversions:

  • 3/8" BSP → 16.66 mm
  • 1/2" BSP → 20.95 mm
  • 3/4" BSP → 26.44 mm
  • 1" BSP → 33.25 mm
  • 1.25" BSP → 41.91 mm
  • 1.5" BSP → 47.80 mm
  • 2" BSP → 59.61 mm
  • 3" BSP → 87.88 mm
  • 4" BSP → 113.03 mm

Use these conversions to check compatibility with metric-sized components or to plan your installation. If you’re measuring existing threads, remember that the actual major (outer) diameter will be slightly larger than the nominal bore listed above.
